ACHEMA is the leading world forum and leading show for the process industry and a highlight for plant engineers. In five days almost 170,000 visitors came to learn about the offerings of 3,800 exhibitors from 56 countries.  

As with previous years, the Pörner Group met with prospective new clients, new contacts as well as old friends from all over the world. The group was represented by Pörner Ingenieurgesellschaft and our subsidiary EDL Anlagenbau Gesellschaft and used the fair as a platform to showcase our specialized technologies in the Bitumen, refinery, chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as our forte in revamps, international contracts through successfully completed projects.

The stand was eye-catching and included the much loved "Ingenieur-Café" where we entertained our guests in a traditional Viennese coffee house atmosphere. As is customary at every good café, guests could browse through newspapers and magazines, among them the latest edition of the Pörner "Engineering-Times".

The fair was successful as always, and the Pörner Group presented its profile as a modern and competitive engineering company.

After such a positive event we have already started gathering ideas for the next ACHEMA in 2018. Once again, we look forward to seeing you there.
