The inventor explains: “This bag has no extra reinforcement or additional support. Nevertheless it stands some more stable than the competitive products due to the consistent application of our experience. We created this design according to an alternate slogan: Function follows Design.”
Beside the optimized shape about 20 detail improvements were realized to make the Pörner Bitumen Bag™ the absolute benchmark for state-of-the-art bitumen packing. After intensive piloting and in-house testing the new generation was proven successfully in quantity at the new packing facility at Brod Refinery.
“It is very economical to manufacture, it is completely fulfilling the quality demands and it also looks good,” states Walter Herzog, Pörner Project Engineer for the Bitumen Packing Unit at Brod Refinery.
