Early 2018, Pörner opened an office on the refinery site in Burghausen. Thanks to positive business developments, Burghausen was officially declared the new Pörner location and moved into a new office in 2019. 

As competent engineering partner, Pörner is now also available to its customers like OMV and Borealis in southern Germany and has already been able to show its skills at various projects, as for example during the Borealis shutdown. 

Thanks to the cooperation of all Pörner locations, customers in Burghausen have access to the entire workforce of more than 500 specialists from the Pörner Group. In matters of organization, the location is subordinate to Pörner Grimma. The location's professional competences range from refinery and chemical plants to energy and environmental facilities.
